Stroke: The Sign and What You Can Do?

If You Feel Any of These

- Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body. 2)
- Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding.
- Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes.
- Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination.
- Sudden, severe headache with no known cause.

the cause are you (or maybe someone next to you) are experiencing 'mini stroke' the warning signs of stroke. Please don't wait, now you are allowed to rush to the nearest hospital and make sure you get the treatment within the first 3 hours. Beyond that, your stroke may be fatal (in 2005, 3,245 of them were fatal).

2. Stroke In Simple Dictionary
Stroke is a sudden impairment of brain function resulted from the disruption/blockage of blood supply to the brain. Either your brain blood vessel get bursts or get clogged, both may cut off the blood supply to the brain.

What's next? Since your valuable brain cells need oxygen and the only route to get that is by blood, any clog and problem happens in between the route may cause brain cells gets deprived from oxygen and nutrients. Since the brain is the command center for everything, your dying brain cells (or just very very tiny part of it) may further cause some severe impact including the long lasting paralysis, speaking difficulties (in some cases you can't even eat), and lost of muscular coordination (can't use your arms or leg).

All of that happens very quickly, very silently.

3. Some of You Choose to Get Stroke
Beware if any of you are currently lead the life as stated below.
- high fat diet
- Being single
- Being unhappy
- Being in hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Being obese
- Smoking
- Being women
- Being born in the poor dieting/everybody is a smoker family

4. How To Avoid Stroke
Since the effect of stroke could be temporary or permanent, partial or complete disability, it is your duty to take care of your body and perhaps avoiding the risk of getting stroke.
- If your blood pressure is high, follow your doctor's advice to control it.
- Avoid foods that are high in fat and cholesterol, and eat less sodium (salt), to lower your cholesterol and blood pressure.
- If you have diabetes, keep your blood sugar level under control.
- Limit how much alcohol you drink.
- Quit smoking. If you don't smoke, don't start.

5. Alternative Measures
- Take a morning bath (before dawn)
- Drink water on empty stomach (Japanese doing this) immediately after waking up
- Muslim? Bow your head a minute to meditate after reciting dua.
- Do not eat both fish and meat/ or milk in mix during meal.

Color & Emotion: How Colors Could Change You

Your surroundings, your mood, you and but you. Here the post about colors and how you for some reasons need to seek these colors and in contrast avoids those colors. You maybe already did this when eg: choosing colors for the walls of your home, choosing your holiday at the seaside or along the beaches, or maybe having just a simple candle light dinner when you are in mood. These actions already show your basic understanding about colors, no matter if you did that on purpose of knowing or just to please your eyes. You may already or may not realize about that, but colors do affecting you (and other people as well).

1. The Spectrum of Moods
At one end of the spectrum they are cold, impersonal, antispectic colors. At the other end the cool colors are comforting and nurturing. Blue, green, and the neutrals white, gray, and silver are examples of cool colors.

2. People Do Subjected to Visual Colors
Blue and green are two well-known colors that many believes (yes, been scientifically proved) have the calming effect on the eyes of viewers. These life sustaining duo really been the most in need, and that is the reason why most motivational facilities, rehab center or your rest house situated along the seaside, beaches or inside the deep greenwood areas.

It is not the colors, but you who behave in relations to your colors. Hence, it is best to choose your place well based on your current mood swing. If you are in an intense mood, perhaps the bad place is when you made your anger-self available at those very bright colored environment. Say no then to stressful colors eg: red because red may increase your blood pressure, increase your breathing rates, and also can cause more sweat on your palm as did the frequency of eye blinks.

Color with longer wavelenght however can produce a calming effect. Colors like blue, may drop your blood pressure a bit, as did to your sweating and eye blinks.

3. So Here Is Your Color Guide
- Shorter wavelenght color: including red light, yellow and orange hype us.
- Longer wavelenght color: cooler colors eg: blue, purple, green calm us down.

4. Perfect Color for Every Mood
- If you feel lazy, make your room brighter, and at best be at the red wall's room.
- If you feel sick, your body need rest, dim the light a bit, and perhaps present yourself on green environment may help.
- If you want to free yourself/meditate, use white (or green, or blue) as white may clear your thought and keep you happily going.
- If you are sad, avoid dark room and darker colors eg: brown or black as these colors may crash you deeper.

All about the wavelength and brightness, so next time when you feel nobody there to help you coping with your inner feelings, the surroundings (colors) are always there happy to help. You just need to seek, avoid or change it based on your current mood, or maybe now knowing what to do with colors to calm, drive(motivate) or cheer you. Change colors means change you, from the inner side to the physical results (either for worse or better).

Dari dulu lagi bila teringat pasal diet, ramai sudah biasa dengan konsep 'Jangan Makan', potong jumlah makanan, skip makan pagi ataupun tengahari, berlapar dan mesti sakit-sakit perut. Semua ini tidak betul dan salah dari segi kesihatan dan juga konsep diet yang sebenar.

Dalam setahun dua kebelakangan ini, konsep diet 'Pinggan Kosong' dah tak boleh pakai. Sekarang ada teknik diet dipersetujui pengamal perubatan moden iaitu diet 'Pinggan Penuh'. Macam mana?
